My 200,000 mile Toyota Camry.

Ryan was exceptional! I found him on Yelp and I was not disappointed!! He listened to the problems going on with my car and we talked extensively about the issue. He ran a diagnostic, but didn't end up charging me for it b/c he couldn't give a definitive conclusion as to the problem. (My car/steering wheel was shaking absurdly between 40 - 60mph, but it wouldn't do it every time you drove it. This inconsistency ruled out alignment, tire weight issues.) Then we talked some more and came to an analysis that we both felt very good about. (My car had too much weight in it and at those speeds the transmission isn't used to carrying such heavy loads, thus causing the shaking. Ryan suggested turning the overdrive off and it has worked like a charm!) He even helped me out on a Sunday (normally the shop is closed, but he had to be there for a few hours for a charity event)!! I would highly recommend Mode Automotive!! Plus, he's a small player, so give him some business!

I am so glad to have found a mechanic like Ryan! He's friendly, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I've brought my car here on numerous occasions and for various reasons including standard maintenance, oil change and then an actual issue. Every time was a great experience. My car hadn't had maintenance for awhile and has over 100K miles on it so naturally there was quite the list of needs my car had, but I appreciated that he showed me on my vehicle what was needing fixed, options, and then a realistic time frame I'd need to do the repair within so I could make the best decision for me in terms of what I chose to repair. When I had an actual issue, he fit me in first thing and was able to quickly solve the problem so I could be on my way. On a side note, another great thing about Mode Automotive is the welcoming reception area. It's very clean so you can comfortably wait for your car, or even bring your work in with you to do while you wait. It's so nice going to clean repair shop. If you haven't been here yet you should definitely check it out.
