I moved to San Diego at the end of last summer, and when I needed an oil change, I found a mechanic that was relatively close to where I live. Mechanics are not difficult to find near Miramar, but finding a good mechanic who won't overcharge you or try to rip you off is another story. The "other" guys told me I needed several repairs (wiper blades replaced, various fluids changed) when that maintenance had already been done recently. I felt ripped off and totally overcharged. So, long story short, I went to Ryan after reading the excellent reviews (thanks, fellow Yelpers!) and seeing that he's within walking distance of where I live. I made a Saturday morning appointment, and even with a few phone calls and other customers coming in to drop off their vehicles, he was done in about an hour. He was very kind and efficient and I really feel that I wasn't overcharged a penny. I will continue to take my car to Ryan anytime I need routine maintenance or major work done, and will happily recommend him to all of my friends. Thanks again, Ryan!
